I always teach my kids to elbow sneeze. Actually, I hassle adults and nieces and nephews to do it too. Check out the link below.
Yucky, yucky!
Yucky, yucky!

I've been coughing and sneezing that way for years! I taught my kids how to do that. For my 3 yr old it's habit, but with my 8 yr old boy it happens on a rare occasion. Arg!!
The one down fall to sneezing into your arm? A couple weeks ago I did and didn't notice until about an hour later that there was..um.. "stuff" stuck on my sleeve! Ewww! I was out shopping too. Sooo embarrassing! LOL!!
The only problem with arm sneezing is that crud stays there all day...and you don't normally wash your clothes so yuck! But I first noticed it with my boyfriend's daughter. I finally figured out, that's how kids are taught to do it now!
I never thought of that. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to be sure to wash there when I use the bathroom and to look out for any "stuff" hanging out.
I never knew that's what it was called.
That's the way I taught my kids. Much more effective.
