I love history and social studies so I am thrilled that it is America's birthday. Actually the Declaration of Independence wasn't signed on July 4th, but I won't bore everyone with all that historical stuff.
I got to spend the day with my best friend, Edie. She, her mother, and son all came into town from San Antonio yesterday. I have to say that it ranks up there as the best 4th of July.
