Cakes, Cakes, Cakes

My dear friend, former land lady, and aunt of Edie, Ida, sent me this picture. Twice a year the church that I fell in love with in San Antonio has a barbecue chicken plate sale. As a parishioner you have to sell two tickets to the sale. They still send me the tickets even though I don't live in San Antonio. I don't mind. It keeps me close to the city I miss. Yet, since I no longer live in San Antonio I can't go to the sale myself so I mail the tickets to Ida. We used to go to church together so I figured she can enjoy the food.

I have to say that even though I prefer cupcakes these cakes do look scrumptious. Too bad I missed it.
Oh and Ida is too funny. She labeled the picture Patty Cakes. Ha Ha!
